Green gifts

The environmental movement has made such strong inroads into popular culture that companies now sell green gifts. These gifts show your commitment to the environment and also acknowledge the recipient's commitment to going green. Green presents make an eco-statement and are great for any occasion.

Green gifts are new to market and are relatively unorthodox. One example is a green pod. The pod clips to a purse, belt loop or backpack and turns inside out to expose plants. To put away the pod, one simply stuffs the material back into the pouch.

In order to promote sales of green gifts companies often run promotions that are environmentally friendly. For example, a company can pledge to plant a tree in your name or in the recipient's name if you make a purchase. In addition, you can simply purchase a card to note that a tree is being planted in the recipient's name and make the tree your gift.
